Pave the Way

Grace Church Parking Lot Project

Making Room for the Next Person

The Pave the Way project is not really about asphalt. It is about people. It is about making room for the lives God is bringing to Grace Church. And it is about what God does in us as we step forward together in faith. When we pray, trust God, and give sacrificially, He transforms our hearts. Our faith grows. Our trust in Him deepens. And our love for God and people expands as we see the Gospel continue to change lives. This project meets a practical need for our church, but it is also an opportunity for God to grow us spiritually as a church family.

Projects Are About People

At Grace Church, projects are never just about construction.
Projects are about people. Yes, this project will repave and resurface our parking lot. It will improve access, remove barriers for guests, and help us welcome the people God is bringing to Grace. But something deeper happens when a church steps into a project together. Projects shape us. They become moments where God works in the hearts of His people.

How Projects Grow Us

When we step into something like this together, God uses it to grow us spiritually.
Projects Grow Our Faith
As we pray about how to participate, we ask God to go before us. We trust that He is already preparing hearts and guiding our church.
Projects Grow Our Trust in God
When we give sacrificially, we place our resources in God’s hands and trust Him to provide for us. Giving becomes an act of worship.
Projects Grow Our Love for God and People
As God transforms our hearts, we begin to care more deeply about the mission of the church and the lives being changed by the Gospel. Projects meet practical needs, but they also grow our hearts as followers of Jesus.

The Project

The clear and primary goal of the Pave the Way Project is to repave and resurface key areas of our parking lot.

Goal: $468,000

Make no mistake. This project is not about asphalt. It is about access.

Every Sunday hundreds of people arrive at Grace Church looking for hope, community, and the message of Jesus. Improving our parking lot helps remove barriers so people can easily come, park, and be welcomed into the life of the church.

If God Provides More

The elders of Grace Church have approved a plan for any funds given above the parking lot goal of $468,000.

If God moves in the hearts of our church family to give beyond the parking lot need, additional funds will be used for the following projects in this order:
Grace Kids & Youth Bathrooms
Estimated Cost: $150,000
Updating these bathrooms will better serve the hundreds of children and students who use these spaces each week.
Back of Building Improvements
Estimated Cost: $100,000
Improvements to the rear of the building will address maintenance needs and improve the overall function and appearance of the property.
Playground Replacement
Estimated Cost: $250,000
A new playground would create a welcoming place for children and families to gather and connect on our property.

While the project we are raising funds for is the parking lot, we believe God may choose to do even more through the generosity of our church family.

Your Next Step

We are inviting everyone who calls Grace Church home to take two simple steps.
1. Pray
Take time to talk with God about your role in the Pave the Way project. Ask Him how He might lead you to participate.
2. Pledge
Once you have prayed and sensed how God is leading you, make your pledge. Your pledge helps us plan the project and move forward together as a church.
