I’m Pat McKinney, and I’ve had the privilege of serving as an elder at Grace since 2018. My wife, Beth, and I were married in 1987 right here in what was then the church sanctuary—now the youth chapel. We began attending Grace in 2005 when our oldest was entering high school. We wanted a strong youth group environment for our kids, and Grace quickly became home. Jesus is my Lord, Savior, and Friend, and serving as an elder gives me the joy of helping guide and encourage our church family to become more like Him. It also allows me to grow by learning from the godly men I serve alongside. I’ve been a Mechanical Engineer for 38 years and currently work at CNH as the Lead Engineer for the Case IH Large Combine Platform. Outside of work and ministry, my favorite thing is spending time with my grandkids—two of whom are under the age of two. I also enjoy golfing, riding my motorcycle, and target shooting whenever I get the chance.
