I have had the privilege of serving as an Elder at Grace Church since 2016—with a two-year break from 2021 to 2023—and I currently serve in the Treasurer role. My wife, Cindy, and I have been part of Grace for 45 years, ever since we met here at age 18. We’ve been married for 42 years and are blessed with two married sons, Tim and Justine, and Matt and Harper, as well as two wonderful granddaughters, Ali and Amy. Jesus is everything to me; without Him, there is no life. I love serving as an Elder because it allows me to use my spiritual gifts to support our leadership team and care for our church family. Cindy and I also enjoy serving together in Grace Kids and co-leading a Growth Group. I spent 37 years in Information Technology before retiring due to health challenges related to Lyme disease and cervical disk disease. These days, I enjoy movies, listening to audiobooks, and spending time with my family.
